LaSalle I & M Canal Boat Ride Event

Board the I & M Canal Boat after an included lunch at the Lock 16 Cafe in the Visitor Center. Enjoy looking back in time learning about the historic Illinois & Michigan Canal on a mule driven boat. Lsrry & Moe, the mules, pulling us along the canal. Attached is a copy of the post card RSVP application being mailed.  You may use the attached to make your resevations.

Recent Events

"The Girl of the Golden West">

A small group of 14 met Bob Voigt's daughter Deborah Voigt as the lead in this unusial performance at the Chicago Lyric Opera house on January 26, 2011. we were treated by Bob & his wife, Lynn to a delicous lunch in the Pedersen Room. After the performance we sat down with Deborah for beverages, cake & autographed gifts of her latest CD and a December 2010 edition of "Opera New" where Debbie was featured on the cover. Some of us have since been following Deborah on both television & radio.

Happy Birthday to Class of '59 March 2011

Over 40 Classmates including guests converged on the Phoenix, AZ area to celebrate their 2011 birthdays. Some went on a 5-hour pontoon ride with a box lunch on Day 1; Most saw the 2011 Cubs in a Spring Training game at Hohokam Park enjoying a buffet lunch before the game on Day 2; Day 3 was split up with some going to Jerome and Sedona for pink Jeep rides & the Haunted Hamberger joint while others went to Williams to take a train ride to Grand Canyon; We had a Farewell Breakfast on Day 4 before most left to go on their merry way to continue on their own or return home.

Hometown Chapter Summer Cruise 2011

Over 40 Classmates including guests were on the August 2011 Lake Michigan cruise!  They met at Navy Pier to board the Odyssey cruise ship. They enjoyed a 3-course gourmet lunch while listening to live music both during and after lunch.

50th Reunion September 11-13 2009
